Google Meet hardware displays video meetings on large displays in standard-size or large rooms so groups of people can attend Meet video meetings together. Other participants can join from computers, mobile devices, or other video conferencing systems.
Enroll your device
Enrolling your Google Meet hardware device adds it to your organization's domain. Any user in your organization can enroll a device. However, you can limit which users can enroll devices by applying certain privileges in the Google Admin console.
- Turn on your device.
- Connect a USB keyboard to the device.
When you connect a USB keyboard to the device, the virtual keyboard will not appear on the touchscreen. Use the USB keyboard instead. - Complete the on-screen setup to select your language, keyboard layout, time zone, and network.
- Read and accept the Chrome OS Terms of Service.
- Sign in with your Google Workspace email address and password.
- When enrollment is complete, click Done.
- When the Google Meet hardware screen appears, follow the on-screen instructions to test your camera, microphone, and speaker.
Assign a calendar
- Go to Menu > Devices > Google Meet Hardware >Devices.
- Choose an option:

- Filter the devices by organizational unit or other criteria.
- Click a device name to select it.
If you don’t see the device, scroll down the list to find it. You might need to go to the next page or further to find the device. - In the Calendar assignment section, click Assign Calendar.
Choose an option:
- Room calendar—Select to associate a room calendar with this device.
Select the room where the device is located, and click Save.
If the room doesn’t appear in the list, click Manage resources, enter the room name, and click Save. Calendar events that include the room will appear on the device. For details, see Edit a room name, type, or description.
- Personal calendar—Select to associate a single user's calendar with this device.
Enter the name or email address of the user and click Save. Calendar events that include the user will appear on the device.
