Google Workspace Jamboard is an interactive digital whiteboard that enables teams to collaborate and share ideas in real-time, regardless of their location. It includes a range of drawing tools, sticky notes, images, and shapes, as well as the ability to import content from Google Drive, Docs, Sheets, and Slides. 


Users can also join a Jam session from their computer, tablet, or mobile device, making it easy to participate from anywhere. The Jamboard can be used for brainstorming, project planning, and visualizing concepts, among other things.


Steps to set up and use Google Workspace Jamboard



  1. Go to the Google Workspace Admin Console and enable Jamboard for your organization.

  1. Assign Jamboard licenses to users who need access.
  2. Go to jamboard.google.com or download the Jamboard app on your device.

  1. Sign in with your Google Workspace account credentials.
  2. Create a new Jamboard or open an existing one.

  1. Use the toolbar to add sticky notes, drawings, images, text boxes, and other elements to your Jamboard.

  1. Use the pen, highlighter, and eraser tools to draw and annotate on your Jamboard.

  1. Invite others to collaborate on your Jamboard by sharing the link or adding them as collaborators.

  1. Use the chat feature to communicate with collaborators in real time.
  2. Save your Jamboard when you are done or export it as a PDF or image file.
