In addition to the core Google Workspace services such as Gmail, Drive, and Calendar, there are also additional services that can be turned on or off for your organization.
As your organization's administrator, when you sign up for Google Workspace, your team has access to several additional services, such as YouTube, Blogger, Google Analytics, and more. You can manage how these services are used with Google Workspace accounts with the On or Off controls.
Some services have an individual On or Off control in the Admin console and others don't. For services that don't have this control, you can turn them on or off all at once.
Steps to turn on or off additional Google services:
- Sign in to your Google Workspace Admin Console.
3. Select the organization that you want to service turn it on or off.
4. Scroll down the list of services and find the service you want to turn on or off.
- If the Service status is set to Inherited and you want to keep the updated setting, even if the parent setting changes, click Override.
- If the Service status is set to Overridden, either click Inherit to revert to the same setting as its parent, or click Save to keep the new setting, even if the parent setting changes.
5. To turn on a service for a set of users across or within organizational units, select an access group.
Note: Administrators for Google Workspace Essentials (email-verified) customers do not have access to these controls. To control Additional Google services first verify your domain.
