HOW TO UPDATE MX RECORDS?
Mx Records
1)What is an MX record and how it works?
An MX-record (Mail eXchange-record) is a type of resource record in the Domain Name System (DNS). This is the system that, among others indicates to what specific IP address emails need to be sent. The MX record contains the hostname of the computer(s) that handle the emails for a domain and a prioritization code.
2)How long does it take for MX records to update?
It can take up to 72 hours for the new records to update through the system. During this time, mail sent to your domain might bounce.
3)What should an MX record look like?
A typical MX record would look something like this: example.com. 3600 IN MX 0 mail.example.com.
4)What will happen if my domain does not have MX records?
You will not get any email on that domain.
