HOW TO CHECK DNS Records?

DNS Records

1) What is DNS RECORD?

:- DNS records (aka zone files) are instructions that live in authoritative DNS    servers and provide information about a domain including what IP address is associated with that domain. A DNS record is a database record used to map a URL to an IP address. DNS records are stored in DNS servers and work to help users connect their websites to the outside world. When the URL is entered and searched in the browser, that URL is forwarded to the DNS servers and then directed to the specific Web server.

As an example, an A Record is used to point a logical domain name, such as "google.com", to the IP address of Google's hosting server, "74.125. 224.147".

2) What happens when DNS records are removed?

Delete a DNS record from your domain that's no longer needed. Deleting records will completely remove them from your zone file. Changes to your DNS may interrupt how your domain works, such as your email and website.

3) What are DNS records used for?

DNS records (aka zone files) are instructions that live in authoritative DNS servers and provide information about a domain including what IP address is associated with that domain and how to handle requests for that domain.
